Over the past weekend, I celebrated my 23rd birthday. I have to admit, I have easily forgotten the impact my wonderful friends have in my life until I was greeted with warm hugs, birthday wishes and shots at my birthday party. Then again, I am thankful for them and how it is so easy to start where we left off whenever I see them. Whether it was two days ago or a month, we still have that connection when we are updating each other about the people we dated/dumped or the gossip we've heard, while pouring gin & juice over ice and toasting to the night. That thought alone definitely made the weekend one to remember!
I finally found a fitting occasion to wear a flower crown! I made it with baby's breath by wrapping the wire with embroidery thread first and then tying in each bundle of flowers. I may have to find more reasons to wear them because I really liked the results!
