This is perfect. If I had to choose, I would choose to look like Seon Hwang in this look book for Area 51, all the time. Ever since I started this blog, I've realized that my personal style is a mixture of masculine and feminine details. I can never just wear a flowery print summer dress without a leather jacket, denim vest, sneakers or boots. I am a sneaker head at heart and I find myself melting over men's fashion fairly often. I think this definitely stems from childhood where I was your typical tomboy who grew up with a household of brothers, spent most of my time on a Super Nintendo, idolized Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls and swooned over rap lyrics instead of boy bands. All of those things have really carried over to my love for fashion today. In considering men's fashion, I continue to find limitless inspiration and ideas to work with when throwing outfits together and if not that, great conversation pieces with handsome, well dressed boys!

ReplyDeleteI'm liking her laid-back look! I would have never thought to pair a beanie with a a dress.

Hey Connie ! love the little tidbit you wrote on how your sense of style is a blend of men's and women's fashion. I think it's great that you embrace men's fashion the way you do but put your own feminine twist with to it. Keep doing you!
ReplyDeletehaha oh btw me and this model have the same camo backpack haha
