Cambodia

Ok, I did promise backpacking photos a month ago but I've been busy (and lazy) about posting them. I will get to it sometime but I'll leave a picture of myself walking the temples of Angkor Wat, Cambodia here. Backpacking was amazing. I learned a lot about myself; about how much I can handle and how I can actually be okay sometimes not being dolled up. I think that sometimes we forget why we love fashion because there are so many new styles and new things to "love". That causes you to just want to buy things when really fashion is supposed to be a creative outlet in my opinion. I haven't purchased anything since my trip but I'm still just as into style and fashion as ever. It's a cultural thing and it took me this trip to remember it.

  2. This is an amazing picture and so seems the whole trip. And you're absolutely right about fashion. Sometimes we just should take a break and arrange our ideas to start appreciating fashion in the right way again.

  14. this photo is just amazing. You should post more from your trip, I'm sure your readers would love to see them! I love how you've summed up how fashion & style isn't about consuming, but rather being creative with what's in your closet. Sometimes I think fashion bloggers lose sight of that.
